Christmas 2017 in and around Marbella

Christmas in and around Marbella I was asking by a friend what it’s like in Marbella during Christmas week? Well a lot and nothing. Basically, winter time in Marbella is boring. It’s quiet and empty. A lot of restaurants and nearly all the nice beach Chiringuitos are closed. The old town is nearly empty at all. Marbella and specially Puerto Banus it’s not what it is in summer time. Weather could be nice, up to 20 degrees at daytime, but nights are very cold. But you can have lunch outside sitting with only a T-shirt on. Winter in Marbella is good for golfers, and that’s it. But let’s go back to Xmas time. A lot of the available restaurant have Christmas lunch and dinner parties at the 24th 25th and 26th! it’s good to make a reservation to be on save side. Streets have nice Xmas lights all around. There are also some religious processions in Marbella, San Pedro and Malaga which are very nice to watch. Sting @ Starlite Marbella 2019

Sting at Starlite Festival in Marbella – Police hits in a new style At the beginning a small anecdote; When we photographer visited the concert yesterday, we were told that the management of Sting allowed us to take photos of the first two songs only and then have to leave the concert. We were not allowed to stay there and watch the concert which is very funny, especially for me, because I had to write this article. But from my experience, I know that often the management of such stars are very sensitive and bring crazy rules that are unfounded and do not reflect the opinion of the artist himself. I once met Lady Gaga before a concert in Vienna and asked her about it because her management also had such strange rules, she was very surprised why it said so and said that she do not know about it and she does not care how many photographs you take or how long you stay after the shooting. Till von Sein at Purobeach NoMaDe party in Marbella

Another great poolparty with DJ Till von Sein at Purobeach Marbella. Again, there was an amazing party at the famous Purobeach in Marbella. This time, the star of the day was DJ Till von Sein from Berlin. The world-famous musician and producer, with its quiet but very rhythmic chillout and deep house music, enchanted the audience at Purobeach with the best sounds and chilled rhythms throughout the day. For Puro Beach rather quiet audience enjoyed this day which was held under the motto NoMaDe has taken place. The large pool, Champagne, cool drinks and delicious food made this event one of the best pool parties on the Costa del Sol. In an interview with Marbella events guide, Till said, that this was the first time for him to be at Costa del Sol. He dont care if pople are dancing to his music or not, he choose the music to suit the audince. The most important thing for him is that the audience is satisfied with what they get to hear. And that the sun is shining…… but thats normal for Marbella.

The new exhibition by the attractive artist Anastasia Dardelin was opened in the Restaurant Soliluna yesterday evening with free cocktail and canapés, followed by a special dinner from the gastronomic week of the white asparagus.

Jungle Party @ Nikki Beach

Amazing Jungle Party at Nikki Beach Marbella Nikki Beach was transformed into a wild jungle on the 6th August! Guests were surprised with living animals like parrots and snakes which they were allowed to touch but as well tigers, lions and bears were running around 🙂 As usual when Nikki Beach is celebrating a party the atmoshere was vibrant caused by live acts like drummers, violinist and saxo.
