La Sala in the Sky (Monday 11th July 2016)takes off with Mayor Bernal ‘La Sala in the Sky’s’ much anticipated launch went ahead on Friday 8th July 2016. Just a couple of days later, MEB, local press – including Canal Sur reporters who were broadcasting live from the sky – guests from the town hall of Marbella and the Mayor of Marbella, Pepe Bernal, were invited to sample Marbella’s brand new floating restaurant. The concept, developed by Belgian company, has been implemented in 40 of the world’s most impressive cities – Marbella being the latest addition. The attendees of this VIP Dinner Experiance were prepared for an exciting night and they weren’t disappointed. The 22-seat restaurant is built on platform which is raised 50 metres above the ground and all seats swivel by 180˚ to give each diner panoramic views across the skyline. This experience was made even more special by the collaboration between La Sala and famous Basque chef Aitor Perurena, who created a very special 5 course tasting menu including delicacies such as Tuna Tartar with Lime Cloud, Wakame & Soy Mayo, Spider Crab Canneloni and Teriyaki Lacquered Beef to name a few, served with wine and Champagne. Nikki Beach Marbella Reopening Party 2016 Welcome Back to NIKKI BEACH Marbella! Nikki Beach in Marbella re-opened its doors on the 28th May its annual ‘Welcome Back’ party, heralding the office start of the Marbella season. The good and great of Marbella were out in force to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, with entertainment provided by go-go dancers, violinists, drummers and saxophonists in the open air restaurant, swimming pool with VIP beds and the beach area.
