El Corte Inglés Fashion Show Lunch at La Sala last Thursday, 19th May La Sala partnered up with the biggest department store group in Europe, El Corte Inglés and organised a stylish fashion show event that showcased couture women’s fashion by Intropia. The brand presented its original and exclusive 2016 summer collection, sponsored by El Corte Inglés What’s Hot Loyalty programme. This fun and entertaining lunchtime event with more than 120 guests, was hosted by the former footballer David Bentley, Lindsey Medina from Sala Group and Sandrine Wajngart Galley from El Corte Inglés. In addition to live chill out music by Bluefunk, some lucky attendees also took home fabulous prizes by El Corte Inglés. Puerto Banus Marina – Marbella Puerto Banús is a marina located in the area of Nueva Andalucía, to the southwest of Marbella, Spain on the Costa del Sol. This resort town was developed in 1970 as a luxury marina and shopping complex for the rich and famous. Developed around a coastal village in the Mediterranean architectural style. Puerto Banús offers its visitors an extraordinary fare of expensive shopping malls, restaurants and bars. with a marina studded with luxury yachts of the rich and famous with the interior streets having impressive archways and patios. Puerto Banús is located on the Costa del Sol of southeast Spain, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of Marbella, 64 kilometres (40 mi) southwest of Malaga. The Malaga Airport is 60 kilometres (37 mi) away. There is a good network of roads and transport services connecting Puerto Banús with adjacent towns and suburbs. A taxi from Malaga Airport to the marina is approx 100 euros and approx 15 euros from Marbella centre. Christmas 2017 in and around Marbella

Christmas in and around Marbella I was asking by a friend what it’s like in Marbella during Christmas week? Well a lot and nothing. Basically, winter time in Marbella is boring. It’s quiet and empty.  A lot of restaurants and nearly all the nice beach Chiringuitos are closed. The old town is nearly empty at all. Marbella and specially Puerto Banus it’s not what it is in summer time. Weather could be nice, up to 20 degrees at daytime, but nights are very cold. But you can have lunch outside sitting with only a T-shirt on. Winter in Marbella is good for golfers, and that’s it. But let’s go back to Xmas time. A lot of the available restaurant have Christmas lunch and dinner parties at the 24th 25th and 26th! it’s good to make a reservation to be on save side. Streets have nice Xmas lights all around. There are also some religious processions in Marbella, San Pedro and Malaga which are very nice to watch. This month, last Friday, the Internations Event took place in San Pedro de Alcantara at a new place: El Lunares!  The owner Cecilio has created a beautiful modern place to sublimate the traditional flamenco.

Members were enjoying live Flamenco, Cava, Tapas and great company! They could feel the Andalusian Spirit!
