Marbella by night Every visitor to Marbella’s town will be surprised by the old city part of Marbella, with its many narrow streets full of restaurants, bars and shops. The street plan of this part of the city is characteristic of an Arabic old city, there is no system in the plan of the streets, some ends at a house entrance and others just connecting another street with the next one or opens in a plaza. Most of them with a Christian church. The old town in Marbella is full of shops where you can buy souvenirs like leather goods or ceramics, all made in Spain. It’s a typical area for tourists to walk around vesting money on some unusual things. At night when the sun is down and the temperature getting cooler, its nice to visit the old town of Marbella and dine in one of the many nice restaurants which you can’t miss. A lot of this restaurants are really excellent, having delicious Spanish and International cuisine with nice atmosphere, while other restaurants are just picking up tourist money. Christmas in and around Marbella I was asking by a friend what it’s like in Marbella during Christmas week? Well a lot and nothing. Basically, winter time in Marbella is boring. It’s quiet and empty. A lot of restaurants and nearly all the nice beach Chiringuitos are closed. The old town is nearly empty at all. Marbella and specially Puerto Banus it’s not what it is in summer time. Weather could be nice, up to 20 degrees at daytime, but nights are very cold. But you can have lunch outside sitting with only a T-shirt on. Winter in Marbella is good for golfers, and that’s it. But let’s go back to Xmas time. A lot of the available restaurant have Christmas lunch and dinner parties at the 24th 25th and 26th! it’s good to make a reservation to be on save side. Streets have nice Xmas lights all around. There are also some religious processions in Marbella, San Pedro and Malaga which are very nice to watch. Nikki Beach Marbella 13th Anniversary Party Marbella Events Guide was thrilled to be invited to the much anticipated 13th Anniversary Party at Nikki Beach on the 27th July. As expected it was awesome! The sun was shining and the atmosphere was electric. The great and the good came out in force to party. Live acts including drummers, violinists and saxophonists created a laid back yet vibrant atmosphere, until 5pm when famous DJ Roger Sanchez started his incredible set. There is a reason why Nikki Beach is considered to be one the best, if not the best, venue in Southern Spain….but don’t take our word for it, get yourself down to the next party!
