The Spanish government has shared its plans to open up the country in 4 steps beginning from 2nd of May 2020 The Spanish government announced this Thursday evening that there will be partial relaxation. On the Costa del Sol you may already from Saturday the second may go for a walk and do sports alone or with persons living in the same house between 6 and 10 a.m. and also between 20 and 23 o’clock. But only within a distance of one kilometre from home. This regulation is valid until 11 May, after that, phase 1 will be introduced and the rules will be announced later. It is hoped that by the beginning of the summer season in July, all restrictions will be lifted to encourage tourism. Already two weeks ago many beach clubs in and around Marbella would have wanted to open the 2020 season, but due to the Corona crisis this was not possible. What about nightlife in Marbella and Puerto Banus? Well, no more nightlife in Spain mainland than on the Costa del Sol. Specially in the area between Elviria (Marbella) and Estepona. The main hotspot is in and around Puerto Banus Marina. Here you will find all the famous bars, discotheques and clubs of Marbella. In Puerto Banus marina you will find all the venues on first and second line. Some in Nueva Andalusia and other along the coast on the east side till Elviria where Nikki Beach is situated and to the west side of Marbella where it ends at Laguna Village with Puro Beach. Most nightclubs in Marbella open its doors at about 2300h, some even not before 0200h in the morning. So if you want to enjoy nightlife in Marbella you have to be as fresh as paint to hang on all night long till dawn. La Sala in the Sky (Monday 11th July 2016)takes off with Mayor Bernal ‘La Sala in the Sky’s’ much anticipated launch went ahead on Friday 8th July 2016. Just a couple of days later, MEB, local press – including Canal Sur reporters who were broadcasting live from the sky – guests from the town hall of Marbella and the Mayor of Marbella, Pepe Bernal, were invited to sample Marbella’s brand new floating restaurant. The concept, developed by Belgian company, has been implemented in 40 of the world’s most impressive cities – Marbella being the latest addition. The attendees of this VIP Dinner Experiance were prepared for an exciting night and they weren’t disappointed. The 22-seat restaurant is built on platform which is raised 50 metres above the ground and all seats swivel by 180˚ to give each diner panoramic views across the skyline.
