Ambrosía‘s concept is based on the cheerfulness of a market environment and warm Mediterranean hospitality that is undoubtedly characteristic of the Costa del Sol. The philosophy is taken from “La ambrosia”, word used to describe the exclusive food and drink of the Gods in Greek mythology. El Corte Inglés Fashion Show Lunch at La Sala last Thursday, 19th May La Sala partnered up with the biggest department store group in Europe, El Corte Inglés and organised a stylish fashion show event that showcased couture women’s fashion by Intropia. The brand presented its original and exclusive 2016 summer collection, sponsored by El Corte Inglés What’s Hot Loyalty programme. This fun and entertaining lunchtime event with more than 120 guests, was hosted by the former footballer David Bentley, Lindsey Medina from Sala Group and Sandrine Wajngart Galley from El Corte Inglés. In addition to live chill out music by Bluefunk, some lucky attendees also took home fabulous prizes by El Corte Inglés. Besides amazing fashion and entertainment, the ladies enjoyed unlimited cava throughout the lunch. The ‚Ladies Who Lunch‘ promotion is available every weekday at La Sala Banus. La Sala in the Sky (Monday 11th July 2016)takes off with Mayor Bernal ‘La Sala in the Sky’s’ much anticipated launch went ahead on Friday 8th July 2016. Just a couple of days later, MEB, local press – including Canal Sur reporters who were broadcasting live from the sky – guests from the town hall of Marbella and the Mayor of Marbella, Pepe Bernal, were invited to sample Marbella’s brand new floating restaurant. The concept, developed by Belgian company, has been implemented in 40 of the world’s most impressive cities – Marbella being the latest addition. The attendees of this VIP Dinner Experiance were prepared for an exciting night and they weren’t disappointed. The 22-seat restaurant is built on platform which is raised 50 metres above the ground and all seats swivel by 180˚ to give each diner panoramic views across the skyline. This experience was made even more special by the collaboration between La Sala and famous Basque chef Aitor Perurena, who created a very special 5 course tasting menu including delicacies such as Tuna Tartar with Lime Cloud, Wakame & Soy Mayo, Spider Crab Canneloni and Teriyaki Lacquered Beef to name a few, served with wine and Champagne. Take a walk through Marbella’s old town. Partially surrounded by the ruins of an old Arab wall with narrow white washed streets, old churches and squares, as well as lots of fascinating shops and boutiques At the heart of the old town is Orange Square which dates back to 1485 and, according to Christian urban design, is surrounded by whitewashed houses and three historical buildings – the town hall, the old governor’s house and the Chapel of Santiago. The gardens are full of brightly coloured flowers and orange trees and in the centre stands a bust of King Juan Carlos 1. Also alot of restaurants are close till easter time. But also in wintertime, there is always a nice feeling going around in Marbella’s old town, through the empty streets. This month, last Friday, the Internations Event took place in San Pedro de Alcantara at a new place: El Lunares! The owner Cecilio has created a beautiful modern place to sublimate the traditional flamenco.
Members were enjoying live Flamenco, Cava, Tapas and great company! They could feel the Andalusian Spirit!
