Costa del Sol enters phase 1 after 9 weeks of isolation Finally, and with a week’s delay, restaurants with terraces are allowed to reopen in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Phase 1 after nine weeks of corona virus COVID-19 lockdown was rung in and finally, the residents are allowed to meet again in small groups of up to 10 people. All restaurants that have a terrace are allowed to reopen with 50% capacity. Also, golf is allowed again. At a local inspection, today on the first day in phase 1 after Corona lockdown in Puerto Banus some shops had already opened. But all restaurants and bars were still closed. Christmas 2017 in and around Marbella

Christmas in and around Marbella I was asking by a friend what it’s like in Marbella during Christmas week? Well a lot and nothing. Basically, winter time in Marbella is boring. It’s quiet and empty. A lot of restaurants and nearly all the nice beach Chiringuitos are closed. The old town is nearly empty at all. Marbella and specially Puerto Banus it’s not what it is in summer time. Weather could be nice, up to 20 degrees at daytime, but nights are very cold. But you can have lunch outside sitting with only a T-shirt on. Winter in Marbella is good for golfers, and that’s it. But let’s go back to Xmas time. A lot of the available restaurant have Christmas lunch and dinner parties at the 24th 25th and 26th! it’s good to make a reservation to be on save side. Streets have nice Xmas lights all around. There are also some religious processions in Marbella, San Pedro and Malaga which are very nice to watch. DÖSS, the new restaurant in Marbella by Da Bruno group.

The Da Bruno Group has opened its new döss restaurant with great success. More than 800 people joined the inauguration of this great gastronomic concept that was officially unveiled during ‚two‘ consecutive days to the Marbella social elite. The döss concept has become the new brand of the company, a new notion of essential cuisine in the 21st century.

The uniqueness of döss, is to combine ‚two‘ completely different gastronomical concepts ‘Mediterranean’ and ‘Asian’, in the same restaurant but in ‚two‘ perfectly differentiated spaces. The best of both culinary cultures is framed in ‚two‘ rooms joined by an open courtyard that exudes elegance, design and distinction.

In addition, customers who wish to book the rooms for banquets, presentations, etc., can also enjoy the spaces as well as the ‚two‘ additional terraces on the top floor.
